  1. How do I download/save images?

    Position the pointer on top of the image and click the right mouse button to bring up the menu. Move down to Save Picture as... and click the left mouse button. Then save the new image as a file on your hard disk (make sure you pay attention to the location of the image so you can find it later).

  2. What if I need a higher resolution version of the image for publication?

    Requests for high resolution files contact QR Corporate Affairs using our online enquiry form. Please include the image file name and your deadline and we will address your request ASAP.

  3. How do I get permission to photograph on QR Property?

    Please download and read QR’s Rail Enthusiast and Amateur Photography Guidelines. These guidelines have been developed to enable all rail enthusiasts and amateur photographers to pursue their hobby in a safe and enjoyable manner.

  6. Where can I out information about the history of QR?

    Our Citytrain Timetables allows you to search on your departure or destination station. Traveltrain's Journey Planner allows you to search for journeys throughout Queensland.

    Traveltrain's TiltTrain Bookings allows you to book and pay for a journey on our Tilt Train.

  11. How can I buy timber sleepers from QR?

    When QR has a large quantity of timber sleepers that become redundant, they are put up for tender. For purchase of sleepers in the Brisbane Metropolitan and Regional area, please contact Denpaq on phone +61 428 738 730 or email cityden@bigpond.com.

  12. How can I buy rail from QR?

    When QR has excess rail available for sale, it is advertised for tender. If no rail is advertised, then there is none available.

    When QR has any number of carriages available for sale, they are put up for tender. When any carriages become available for sale, they are advertised for tender. If no carriages are advertised, then there is none available.
